A question-builder, not a medicine-changing instruction
Check saved medicines, then take your questions to a pharmacist
Kiangkang's medication interaction checker works from a signed-in account: select 2–100 medicines already saved there, submit that set, and receive an AI summary to discuss. It is narrower than a complete medication review and it never tells you to stop, start or change a medicine. The sources below explain general interaction safety; the selection rules, consent and credit details explain how Kiangkang currently works.

What medicine interactions mean
An interaction can change how a medicine works or increase the chance of an unwanted effect. Labels and general safety guidance help people know what to ask, but the meaning for one person depends on details that a pharmacist or doctor can assess. That is why this page separates general source guidance from the app feature. The cited FDA resources support careful review and professional advice. Kiangkang contributes an organized summary of the medicines you selected; it does not diagnose an interaction or replace a professional medication review.
How the in-app interaction check works
Sign in, open the medicines already saved in that account, and select between 2 and 100 of them for one check. The request contains only that selected set. It needs internet and health-AI consent because the text is processed online. When the check succeeds, it uses one credit from the shared AI credit pool used by other credit-based AI features. The result groups possible concerns into a readable summary, but AI may omit an interaction or return an error. A successful result is still material for a conversation, not an instruction to change treatment.
What to prepare before checking
First make sure the medicine names and strengths saved in the app match their labels. Then choose every saved medicine you want compared in this run; an unselected medicine is not silently added. The current checker covers selected medicines only. Food, drinks, herbs, supplements and health conditions are outside the current checker, even though they can matter in real life. Write those details down separately and bring them to a pharmacist or doctor so the professional conversation is not limited to what the app sent.
How to use the result safely
Read the result as a list of questions: Which pair needs attention? Does timing matter? Is there something in your full history the check did not see? Take the actual packages, labels and any separate supplement list when you ask. Do not stop, skip, combine or change a medicine or dose from the AI result alone. A pharmacist or doctor is the final authority. If you have a severe or urgent symptom, seek medical help now rather than waiting to run, rerun or interpret this checker.
A good fit when
- You have several medicines saved and want a short list of points to ask about.
- You can identify the exact saved medicines that should be included in this check.
- You will confirm any concern with a pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
Keep in mind
- The checker compares only the selected saved medicines, not everything that may affect them.
- Food, drinks, herbs, supplements and health conditions are outside the current checker.
- AI can omit, misunderstand or overstate an interaction; a pharmacist or doctor remains the final authority.
Four boundaries to remember
Selected saved medicines only
The check receives the 2–100 medicines you deliberately select from the signed-in account, not every medicine or health detail elsewhere.
Online, consented processing
You need internet and health-AI consent before the app can send the selected medicine information for analysis.
One shared credit on success
A successful check uses one shared AI credit; the interaction checker does not have a separate allowance.
Questions, not orders
Possible concerns, omissions and errors belong in a pharmacist or doctor conversation, never in a self-directed medicine change.
Frequently asked questions
What information does the interaction checker use?
It uses only the 2–100 medicines you select from the medicines already saved in your signed-in account. It does not automatically inspect every medicine, record or health detail associated with you.
Does it check food, drinks, herbs or supplements too?
No. Food, drinks, herbs, supplements and health conditions are outside the current checker. Keep a separate list and mention them to the pharmacist or doctor who reviews your questions.
When does an interaction check use an AI credit?
The check requires internet and health-AI consent. When it succeeds, it uses one credit from the shared AI-credit pool; the same pool is used by other credit-based AI features.
What should I do if the result says there may be a risk?
Keep taking medicines as prescribed unless a qualified professional tells you otherwise. Take the result and the original labels to a pharmacist or doctor, who is the final authority for your medicines and doses.
Can I use the checker during an emergency?
No. Do not wait for the app if symptoms are severe or urgent. Seek medical help first; the checker is an online discussion aid and can miss interactions or return errors.
