From shutter to saved medicine, step by step
Point the camera at the packet, or pick a photo you already took from your gallery. Both work. What comes back is a set of fields the app can genuinely use: drug name, generic name, English name, brand, strength, form, amount per dose, suggested times, frequency, with-or-without-food, expiry date, quantity left, and storage instructions. The next screen is a pre-filled add-medicine form, not a save button. Edit any field, shift a time, add a dose, delete something the model guessed wrong. And if that medicine is already on your list, the app flags the duplicate the moment the result lands, before you spend effort on the form, and lets you open the existing entry instead.
A whole prescription, several medicines at once
Coming home from the hospital with five or six items on one sheet, you do not scan them packet by packet. Prescription mode reads the whole document and returns a list. Each medicine carries its dose, frequency, times, food instructions and directions, along with the prescribing doctor and hospital when the paper shows them. You tick the ones you want, and the app then walks you through a confirm-and-save form for each one, telling you how many are left, because every medicine has its own times and counts. Anything the model extracted but is unsure about, a missing strength or an ambiguous name, gets a review badge right on the result list, so you know exactly where to look. And when the photo is not a prescription at all, the app shows a "not a prescription" screen rather than inventing drug names.
The scanner can misread a label, so review is built in
This is the part we will not soften. Thai pill labels are small, often faded, sometimes overwritten by hand, and phone photos come out crooked. Misreads happen. The result screen says plainly that AI filled these in and you can edit them on the next screen; open a section to edit and any field the model read poorly carries an "AI wasn't sure — please check" note. Review every value against the actual label before saving. Kiangkang is a reminder and record-keeping tool, not a medical device, and nothing the AI produces is medical advice. If a scanned value disagrees with the printed label, trust the label. For anything about dosing, changing a medicine, or a symptom you suspect is coming from one, ask a pharmacist or a doctor.
Six features share AI credits; assistant chat has its own allowance
Scanning has no allowance of its own. A single AI credit pool covers six things: medicine scan, prescription scan, drug interaction check, smart schedule, side-effect analysis, and reading a blood-pressure monitor screen. A day of heavy prescription scanning leaves fewer credits for interaction checks that month. Assistant chat has a separate allowance. The free plan includes 5 AI credits a month plus 10 assistant chats, resetting on the 1st, and you can watch a short video to top the credit pool up mid-month. The free plan carries ads. Premium raises it to 20 credits and 40 chats per day, resetting at midnight Bangkok time. The 650 THB first year and 7-day free trial apply only when the store shows those offers to the account; renewal is 990 THB a year, or 149 THB monthly. Every AI feature needs a connection, unlike medication reminders, which keep firing offline.
A good fit when
- A medicine name or instruction is slow or difficult to type.
- Several medicines on one prescription need to be entered as separate drafts.
- The person scanning can compare every draft field with the original label.

Duplicates are caught before you fill anything in
If the name and strength match something already on your list, the warning appears with the scan result, so you don't accidentally add the same medicine twice and get double reminders.
Set a parent up from your own phone
After your parent connects and grants consent, open their member page to photograph and scan packets from your device — the credits come off the account doing the scanning.
Frequently asked questions
I can't read the small print on the label. Can the scanner do it for me?
That is the main reason this exists. Tiny print on a packet becomes readable fields on your screen. Still compare it against the actual packet before you save. If you genuinely cannot read the label and the scan looks different from what the doctor told you, take the packet to a pharmacist rather than trusting the scan.
How accurate is the AI medicine label scanner?
We do not guarantee accuracy, and the system does not verify the drug names and doses the AI reads. The app shows you every value before it is saved and flags fields it read poorly with a "please check" note when you open them to edit. Treat a scan as a draft that saves typing, not a final answer; always check the drug name and strength against the packet.
Where do the photos of my medicine labels go?
Images and text you choose to submit to an AI feature are sent to an external AI provider outside Thailand for processing. The result is a draft for you to check and correct against the actual label before saving. Your PDPA rights are unaffected: you can view, export or delete your data from inside the app at any time.
My parents aren't good with phones. Can I scan for them?
Yes, but your parent must first connect by QR or short code and grant consent. Then open their member page on your phone, photograph the packet, use AI to prefill the form, and review the medicine and times. The credits come from your account as the scanner.
Is scanning free, and does it work offline?
The free plan includes 5 AI credits a month, shared by six scan, check, scheduling, and analysis features; assistant chat has a separate allowance. A short video can add credits mid-month, and Premium gets 20 credits a day. Scanning needs a connection because the photo has to be processed, but reminders already set keep working offline.
